Pondering Upon Science and Humanism in New Curriculum for Physical Education

The controversy over the experimental results of the new round of curricular reform of physical education is,in essence,the embodiment of the separation of scientific education and humanistic education in curricula of physical education.By analyzing the pros and cons of the curricula of physical education under the guidance of the scientific and humanistic education thought,this paper holds that it is a natural process of the historical development of the combination of science and humanism in curricula of physical education.This paper also holds that it is an important direction for the healthy development of the curricula of physical education in our country to establish science as the basic methods and techniques in teaching,and humanism as the orientation.
