Abstract

Objective To observe the curative effect of chronic dacryocystitis treatedby nasolacrimal stent.Methods 37 patients(52eyes) of chronic dacryocystitis were placed nasolacrimal stent.Results Results after following up for 3 months to 1 years,forty-nine of 52eyes with chronic dacryocystitis were cured,2 improved eyes andone ineffective eye,the total effective rate reaching 98%.Conclusion Using nasolac-rimal stent is a minimally invasive surgery,safe,simple and effective methods totreat chronic dacryocystitis.
