Bibliometric Analysis on Study of Safety Engineering Specialty Construction

Abstract

To research the features of safety scientific and technological personnel using literature and the development law of safety engineering literature,the number of literatures,literature authors,core authors,core journals group,quoted literatures,citations and support projects from 1995 to 2009,which are related to safety engineering specialty construction,are analyzed based on the theories and methods of bibliometrics.The results show that the quantity of the articles is less but on the rise;the cooperative degree is 2.5 and the cooperative rate is 76.1%;the researchers are mainly from universities but the core author groups have not been formed yet.China Safety Science Journal is the core journal and Beijing is the core zone.Periodical Literature is the main type of citation(73.5%);references are 4.9 per paper,the Pryse index is 73.3%;quotation rate of articles in Chinese is 97.3%,the supported project and the project level are on the rise year by year.
