Abstract

In this paper,the direcet determination of 14 rare earth elements in ytterbium oxide of 99.5%~99.99% by ICP-AES was studied.The experiments for the selection of analysis lines,working power,the volume of flow of carrier gas,and sampling concentration,etc.were carried out.Under the given condition,the relative standard deviation was less than 8.0%,standard addition recoveries were in the range of 90~108%.
