Clinical Analysis of Intervention Effect of Hyperbaric Oxygen in Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction

Abstract

Objective To evaluate influences of hyperbaric oxygen(HBO) on blood rheology and neurological deficit in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods Sixty eight patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into HBO group and control group,both receiving routine drug therapy and rehabilitation therapy,while the patients in HBO group were treated by HBO.In two groups before and after treatment the changes of neurological deficit and blood rheology were compared.Results The blood rheological index and the neurological deficit scores in two groups of post-treatment were improved significantly than those of pre-treatment,but HBO group was better than control group(P0.05).Conclusion HBO can promote the recovery of neurological deficit,improve blood rheology and reduce the risk of recurrence for cerebral infarction.
