Abstract

Objective:To analyze antibiotic suscepbility of Mycoplasma strains isolated in Shenzhen and to guide the clinical treatment. Methods: The tests of isolation, identification and antibiotic susceptibility were carried out. Results: Out of 953 isolates of Mycoplasma,635 were the mono-infection by ureaplasme urealysis,55 were the mono-infection by mycoplasma hominis and 263 were co-infection by both.Ureaplasma urealytion showed the highest resistance(87%) to ciprofloxacin,Mycoplasma hominis infection and coinfection of both mycoplasma appeared the highest resistance to erythromycin being 94.6% and 85.16% repectively. Conclusion: It is important to trace prevalence and antibiotic resistance of Mycoplasma and guide clinical treatment by surveying Mycoplasma susceptibility to antibiotics.
