Abstract
Objective:To investigate expression of bFGF and CD105 in human cervical carcinoma tissue and it's biological behavior. Methods:Expression of bFGF and microvessel density(MVD) were detected by immunohistochemistry in 40 cass of cervical cancer and 20 cases of normal cervical tissue. Results:Expression of bFGF and MVD in cervical cancer tissue was significantly higher than normal cervical tissue.BFGF with lymph node metastasis, tumor size and clinical stage, but mot with the histopathological tumor type.BFGF and MVD were positively related to each other. Conclusion: BFGF probably promotes cancer cell growth and metastasis by upregulating the expression of MVD.
