Abstract
The discharge coefficient is one of the important parameters in the engineering design of broken-line practical weir.In this study,hydraulic experiments of weir with four rectangular sections(downstream slopes of weir were 1:0.8,1:1,1:1.5 and 1:2 respectively) were carried out.Based on the experimental results,statistical analysis of discharge coefficient was performed and calculating formula for the discharge coefficient with different types of weirs were given which could provide some reference for the engineering design of broken-line practical weir.
