The Three Sus and Du Fu's Poems

Du Fu's poems have different influences to the three Sus.Su Xun's poems are simple,unsophisticated and short of grace,which are scarcely influenced by Du Fu's poems.Su Shi thinks highly of Du's poems,he inherits Du's tradition of writing poems to reflect reality.Some of his poems are close to Du's poems in style.Su Shi imitates directly Du Fu in his poems to record his passage to Sichuan and his Ten Poems In Jingzhou.Su Shi learns from Du Fu while he forms his own style.Su Zhe sings high praise for Du's poems,the influence of Du's poems to his poems is mainly shown through his flexible application of Du Fu's poems.
