Abstract
The paper studied the species composition,abundance distribution,diversity index of phytoplankton,and the relationship between the concentration of nutrient salts and zooplankton in Nanji marine nature reserve area.86 species belonged to 36 genera were identified in total.The mean densities of the net phytoplankton and of phytoplankton in water samples were 194.00×106 cells/m3 and 4.98×104 cells/m3 respectively,and the dominant species were Chaetoceros sp.,Chaetoceros sp.,Skeletonema costatum,Akashiwo sanyuineum and so on.The mean diversity indexes of the net phytoplankton and of phytoplankton in water samples were 2.28 and 2.17 respectively.According to the composition of the phytoplankton,alongshoreing and wideranging group and external-sea group could be distinguished.
