Enhancing the Ability of Public Participation for Advancing the Public Participation in Urban Planning

While there are pretty mature experiences for providing our choosing and applying in abroad,the behavior of public participation in our country still stay in initial stage.Sometimes,the phenomenon has been thought as the result of aspects such as democratic system,legislation guarantee and mechanisms,ignoring studying the participation ability of the main body of planning participation.By the analysis of the phenomenon why the public are blocked out of high-level participation,this article brings forward the approach how to improve the public participating ability of urban planning.
