Research on Competitiveness and Complementarity of Sino-Indian Trade

Recently Sino-Indian bilateral trade develops rapidly. Based on the description of the state quo of Sino-Indian bilateral trade development,by the five indexes of trade intensity index,intra-industry trade index,trade specialization coefficient,export similarity index and revealed competitive advantage index,this paper researches the competitiveness and complementarity of Sino-Indian trade,reveals the competitive advantage of China and India and concludes the characteristics of Sino-Indian trade. The result shows that there are both competitiveness and complementarity in Sino-Indian trade.
