Abstract

This paper has made an empirical analysis on the data of Sino-US trade in the period of 2000~2006.It examines the level of intra-industry bilateral comparative advantage and international competitiveness through the index of RCA and intra-industry trade.The results indicate that there is no great difference in the pattern of specialization as is observed in China and USA,and the two countries are in a lasting and stably complementary relationship in trade.
