Two Problems Confronted the State Student Loan System and the Countermeasures

In 1999,the Chinese government put forward a Government-Subsidized Student Loans Scheme for the purpose of helping those diligent students with a poor family background to be able to complete their studies as well as ensuring the equity,universalization in education and improving the overall quality of people in our country.Although this scheme has undergone unceasing improvement after several years' implementation,there are still some difficult problems which require the joint effort of the government,the bank and the school to seek better solution since the concept of Government-Subsidized Student Loans is a newly sprouted thing.This article points out some of the problems we encountered and gives some suggestions on how to solve them.
