Clinical analysis of hemorrhoidal mucosa ligation at separate points in treating stage-III internal hemorrhoids

Abstract

Objectives To observe the clinical efficacy of hemorrhoidal mucosa ligation in the treatment of stage-Ⅲ internal hemorrhoids.Methods Sixty subjects were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 patients in each group.The treatment group was treated by hemorrhoidal mucosa ligation at separate points,and the control group with traditional hemorrhoids substrate ligation.Clinical efficacy and the occurrence of post-operative complications in both groups were observed.Results The effective rates in both treatment and control groups were 100%,with no difference between the two groups(P0.05);there was a striking difference in the post-operative wound pain score between the two groups(P0.05);while there were no differences in wound bleeding,wound edge edema and difficulty in urination between the two groups(P0.05).Patients in both groups have no sign of prolapse after the treatment.Conclusion In the treatment of stage-Ⅲ hemorrhoids,hemorrhoidal mucosa ligation at separate points acts similarly with traditional hemorrhoids substrate ligation,but with milder wounds pain.
