On Ma Yinchu's Higher Education Thoughts

This article is based on the research of Ma Yinchu s works. It introduces his thoughts of higher education from several aspects, such as educational purpose, curriculum establishment , learning contents, teaching methods and teachers training. It also argues that his thoughts are very useful to the development of higher education at present because his thoughts imply the unity of humanity and science, reflect the materialist dialectics that he had, and may have suggestive effects on the generalization of higher education in China as well.
