Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of the psychological intervention model of surgical patients. Methods One hundred and twenty breast cancer patients were divided into experimental group and control group. The patients in experimental group received routine nursing care, while the patients in the control group was subjected to the psychological intervention on the basis of the model. The patients were scored by using the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) ,self-rating depression scale (SDS) and coping style questionnaires before the patients were discharged. Results The scores in SAS and SDS in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group (P 0. 05). With scores of coping style, the scores of active coping in the experimental group were higher than those of the control group and the scores of passive coping style in the experimental group was lower than those in the control group (P0. 05 for both). Conclusion The use of the model could reduce the progress of depression and anxietly. and effectively relieve the psychological disorder.
