Abstract
Objective:To compare and evaluate the operative effect and change of degree and axial of postoperative astigmatism by phacoemulsification combined with hard intraocular lensimplantation.Methods:116 eyes of 100 patients treated with phacoemulsification combined with hard intraocular lensimplantation were divided into groups A and B by suturing the incision or not.62 eyes of 53 patients in group A were treated with 1 needle through scleral tunnel incision. The other 54eyes of 47 patients in group B were not sutured. All the patients' corneal astigmatism were examined by corneal topography and auto-refkeratometer preoperatively, one week, one month and three months postoperatively. Results: The postoperative corneal astigmatism at one day,one month and three months were(+(+1.36±1.61)Dand(-1.27±1.72)D,(+0.77±0.67)Dand((-2.07±1.82)D,(+0.39±0.55)Dand((-1.95±1.93) respectively. There was significant difference between the astigmatism(P0.05);The previous astigmatism with the rule conversed to against-the-rule astigmatism in all patients. Conclusions: The suture of scleral tunnel incision with 1 needle can improve postoperative vision stably,Reduce the postoperative astigmatism and improve the safety of incision at the same time.Especially useful for basic unit and rebright engineering.
