Non-standard Survey and Analysis in 2400 Prescriptions of Chinese Medicine Decoction

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the standardization of traditional Chinese medicine decoction,to promote safe and rational drug use.Methods:2 400 outpatient prescriptions of Chinese medicine decoction in 2011 were audited and analyzed.Results:In 2 400 prescriptions,652(27.2%)pieces presented non-standard in written,479(20.0%) pieces found non-standard in drug abuse;it were found that there were two kinds of irregularities in 238(9.9%) prescriptions,and three species of above in 93(3.9%)prescriptions.Conclusion:The usage of traditional Chinese medicine decoction in this hospital was reasonable;however,there were still many types of non-standard.By regular testing of prescription,safety and reasonable drugs use could be increased.
