Abstract

The interval estimation of the parameter θ and the joint confidence region of the two parameters of Pareto distribution based on the progressive type Ⅱ censored are proposed. Finally, the statistical performances of the three methods are compared to by obtaining a smaller confidence area based on Monte-Carlo simulation study.
