Abstract

The interval estimation and the joint confidence region of the parameters of two-parameter exponential distribution based on the progressive type type Ⅱ censored are proposed. Finally, the statistical performances of the three methods are compared to by obtaining a smaller confidence area based on Monte-Carlo simulation study.
