Abstract
The exo-polysaccharide production by fermentation with cordyceps militaris was studied and the factors affecting the exo-polysaccharide production were analyzed while the optimum medium and reaction conditions were obtained. The optimum media composition was: 12% sucrose,2% corn paste,2% yeast extract and 0.45% KNO3.The fermentation condition was: 6.5 pH at 20℃.At this condition, the exo-polysaccharide production rate was 1.188 g/100 ml,mycelium dry weight was 1.221 g/100 ml.
