Abstract
Objective:To produce exopolysaccharides with liquid fermentation by Cordyceps militaris. Methods:The effects of fermentation conditions and medium composition including carbon sources, nitrogen sources, original pH,cultural temperature, rocking bed rate of rotation, the quantity of inoculation and fermentation time was studied for producing expolysaccharides by Cordyceps militaris. Results:The optimum conditions were as follows: corn starch 4%,(NH_4)_2SO_4(0.28%),KH_2PO4(0.05%),MgSO_4·7H_2O (0.05%),the original pH is(7.0),inoculum concentration is 10%,temperature 23℃ and rotatory speed 150r/min.The production of expolysaccharides reached 41.271mg/100mL.Conclusion:The production cycles can be shortened effectively by using liquid fermentation for expolysaccharides.
