Abstract
The Ru-Na/C catalyst was prepared by improving Ru/C with NaOH. The evaluation indicated that the acitivity and selectivity of the catalyst were better than those of Ru/C catalyst since conrersion of 4-(4-n-propyl)cyclohexylphenol was 99.9% ,the selectivity of 4-(4-n-propyl)cyclohexylcyclohexanone was 80.4% and selectivity of 4-(4-n-propyl)cyclohexylcyclohexand was 19.6% after the six hours' reaction of Ru-Na/C catalyst .The preferable activity and selectivity of the catalyst were own to the addition of NaOH and the process of calcination in which the surface composing and structure of Ru/C catalyst were changed with the increase of deoxidize property of Ru.
