Abstract
n-butyl propionate is synthesized from propionic acid and n-butanol with magnetic solid superacid S2O2-2/TiO2 as catalyst.The result shows that the best reaction condition is: 0.1 mol propionic acid and 0.14 mol n-butanol,mass of catalyst is 1.4 g,the cyclohexane is 15 ml,reaction time is 2 h.The esterification ratio is above 91%.The experimental results show that magnetic solid superacid S2O2-8/TiO2 is an excellent catalyst.
