Abstract

In this paper we propose the idea of particular heritage,which theoretically concerns with the identification,protection,conversation,exhibition,and succession of the world heritage sites and National Parks.We have defined the conception of particular heritage and particular heritage resources,and put forward 8 problems in the field in China.These problems include fundamental theory,identification,environmental background and capacity,protection and monitoring,protective technology,legislation and management,GIS and training,sustainable utilization and social development in the heritage sites.
