Study on the Character of Growth and Propagation of Ornamental Grasses

This text researched about phenology,growth and reproduction of the 13 introduced perennial ornamental grass.It also evaluated the safety for the introduction of 13 ornamental grass based on the introduction experiment and application of investigation.The results showed that 13 kinds of ornamental grasses were able to grow well and achieved good landscape effect in ningbo climate condition.It ensured the ecological security that they didn't expand by their seed and roots.It provided a basis for further uses of ornamental grasses in landscape in the Yangtze river delta region.
