The Past Decade of Research in the Field of Ideological Theory on the Chinese Mainland: Retrospect and Prospect

In the past decade Chinese scholars have made considerable achievements in the field of ideological theory.In-depth research work on the new problems of ideology has been done against the background of economic globalization and various social changes.Domestic scholars emphasized the research of ideological concept,ideological inner structure and ideological function.The hotly debated problems in ideological theory include Marx's use and regulation of ideological concept,the relationship between ideology and popular culture,the trend of ideological finality,the relationship between ideology and science.The ideological theoretical research in the past decade tends to be linguistic-oriented-the interpretation of ideological discourse is usually supported by linguistic analysis.In addition to the linguistic turn,many scholars show strong interests in psychology of ideology,carrying out the psychological analysis from the perspective of ideological theory;the new trend of interest analysis takes into consideration both interest and the function of ideology.
