Abstract
In a Ф 30 mm stainless steel packing column, the synthesis of ethyl acetate was studied by using catalytic distillation with SO~(2-)_4/Al_2O_3-Al and SO~(2-)_4/ZrO_2-Al_2O_3-Al solid acid as catalyst. The effects of reflux,acetic/alcohol mole ratio, ethanol flow rate on the process of catalytic reaction and separation were investigated. The results indicated that the optimum synthesis conditions were that:the reflux is 3,the molar ratio of the acid and alcohol is 5 and the ethanol flow rate is(1 mol/h).
