Abstract
In this paper, synthesis of ethyl acetate by reactive distillation method with intermithent feed, ethanol and acetic acid as raw materials, phosphotungstic acid as catalyst were studied. The product composition was analyzed by gas chromatography. The optimum conditions were obtained as follows: the reaction temperature was 84~90℃,the volume ratio of acetic acid to alcohol was 1.4∶1,the reflux ratio was 4∶1,the reaction time was 1.5 h,the catalyst amount was 0.9 g.Under above conditions, the conversion rate of acetic acid, the selectivity of ethyl acetate, the yield of ethyl acetate reached 83%,99%,82%,respectively.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
