Abstract

Systematic investigation of insect communities in western Chongqing tea garden, was investigated by the method of trap flap and enmeshment. The results showed that the insect communities consisted of 46 families belonging to 16 Orders 3 Class, with the seasonal variation, and there was obviously different in community succession, and the diversity indices, evenness, the dominance species number and individual number varied over time during the vigorous growth period of tea(from March to July),and the insect community structure was stable, and during the Sep.-Oct.,the insect community reproduction was vigorous, and the cricket was the predominance species;the growth and declining law of natural enemies was same to insect pests.
