Therapeutic effect of 72 cases of hyperprolactinemia sterility by combined traditional Chinese and western medicine

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of combined traditional Chinese and western medicine on hyperprolactinemia sterility. Methods 72 patients with hyperprolactinemia sterility were randomly divided into two groups, 34 patients in treatment group were treated according to TCM differentiation of symptoms and signs ;38 patients in treatment group, based on the treatment in control group, were given oral bromocriptine, with a treatment course of 30 days for both groups. The therapeutic effects were observed for three treatment courses. Results The total effective rate was 89.5 % in treatment group and 88.2 % in control group, there was no significant difference between two groups (P0.05);the abortion rate was 5.4 % in treatment group and 21.6 % in control group, there was a significant difference between two groups (0.05). Conclusion Combined traditional Chinese and western medicine is effective in treating hyperprolactinemia sterility.
