The Current Situation of National Sovereignty

This article first summurizes the origin and connotation of national sovereignty and then,from three different angles it analyses the situation of current international society in which national sovereignty is seriously eroded. In globalization,national sovereignty is relinqished passively;in integration,initiatively and in international intervention,it is relinqished passively by outside force.The article argues that the national interest principle should be the highest one,that national sovereignty must serve national interest and puts forth that weakening and strengthening national sovereignty will exist simultaneously and that,diversification of national sovereignty will be a new trend of its' development.
