Study on Food Intake Behavior of Children and its Influence Factors in Fuzhou

To investigate the children's food intake behavior and its influence factors in Fuzhou.Five kindergartens were selected by cluster random sampling and 778 children's parents were investigated with a questionnaire.Majority of children took rice,bread,meat,fish,egg,green vegetables and milk as daily diet and took bean curd barely.Boys were more like meat,and girls more like orange,ice-cream,mushroom,vegetables,tomato and bun.The mother's education level,occupation and the knowledge from TV or newspaper were related to children's food intake behaviors(P 0.05).Scientific preparing home food by parents and good health education by kindergartens will promote children's good diet behaviors.
