Abstract

Sustainable forestry development includes not only sustainable utilization of forest resources, but also the change of forest ecological landscape.FRAGSTATS,a software package for landscape spatial pattern analysis was used to study the landscape change of natural forest resources. The following indices were calculated: landscape shape index, mean shape index,area-weighted mean shape index, double log fragile dimension, mean patch fragile dimension,area-weighted mean patch fragile dimension,Shannon's diversity index, Shannon's evenness index,Simpson's diversity index,Simpson's evenness index, modified Simpson's evenness index and modified Simpson's diversity index. The results show that area-weighted mean shape index, double log fragile dimension and mean patch fragile dimension decrease slightly,i.e.the shapes of patchs (subcompartments) change little. The change of forest landscape is later than that of forest resources. The change of diversity index of patches is not obvious, and the relative patch richness and patch richness density increase rapidly.
