Abstract

Objective:To explore the application of color Doppler ultrasound assessment of endothelial function in diabetes mellitus patients. Methods:Color Doppler ultrasound detected the vessel diameter and blood flow of 46 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus after brachial artery reactive hyperemia and sublingual nitroglycerin, with the control group were compared and analyzed. Results:The change rate of the brachial artery diameter of two groups patients after brachial artery reactive hyperemia and sublingual nitroglycerin were compared, the difference was significant(P0.05).The change rate of blood flow was significantly difference between them after brachial artery reactive hyperemia. Conclusion:Color Doppler ultrasound can be used to evaluate vascular endothelial function in diabetes mellitus patients.
