Abstract

Combined with the engineering example, the high steep slope stability is analysed under static and the earthquake conditions by the finite element strength reduction method and the method of calculating principle and yield criterion is discussed. The stability of slope is evaluated and the safety coefficient of the two conditions were compared in the obtained seismic slope safety factor. The results show that the finite element strength reduction method is available in earthquake stability analysis of slope.
