Abstract

[Objective]To understand the level of AIDS-related knowledge and attitude among college students,to provide basis for making policy,plan and measure.[Methods]Parts of Shandong Agricultural College students were investigated in 2007.[Results]1 227 students were Investigated,the understanding rate that AIDS may be transmitted through sex,blood,mother-to-child was over 83.37%,while the understanding rate of non-transmitted route was 12.80% to 66.10%.The main way of obtaining AIDS-related knowledge was from newspapers(89.49%),the broadcast,television(85.49%) and textbook(66.50%),93.32% students wanted to know more AIDS knowledge,50.94% were willing to be AIDS knowledge propagandist.[Conclusion]AIDS knowledge understanding rate among agricultural college student was higher,but not comprehensive enough.
