Clinical observation on superficial gastritis of deficient cold of spleen and stomach type treated by mild moxibustion

Objective: Through observing the clinical effect and the content of the PGE2,SS,EGF of the serum caused by the treatment of different moxibustion time of the superficial gastritis Patients due to the spleen and stomach weakness,to investigate the regulation of the dose-effect relation and the adjustment function on gastrointestinal hormone of serum of patients caused by the mild and nourish effect with moxibustion.Methods: Eighty-four superficial gastritis Patients due to the spleen and stomach weakness were divided into mild moxibustion for twenty minutes,mild moxibustion for forty minutes and drug groups.To observe the changes of the content of the Prostaglandin E2(PGE2),Somatostatin(SS) and Epidermal growth factor(EGF) before and after treatment between 3 groups and the clinical effect in different time.Results: ①The 3 groups were compared after treatment,their clinical effect have not significant difference.The total effective rates in A group(100%),B group(92.9%) were higher than that in C group(67.9%) significantly(P0.05).②Compared with before treatment,the superficial gastritis symptom score has a significant difference after treatment and during the 1 month follow-up(P0.01);the superficial gastritis symptom score were compared after treatment has no significant difference;the superficial gastritis symptom score were compared during the 1 month follow-up,The A and B groups have no significant difference;Compared with the C group,the A group has a significant difference(P0.01).③After treatment,the content of the PGE2 of the serum was increased obviously,compared with before treatment,there was a significant difference in each group(P0.05,P0.01);After mild moxibustion for forty minutes,the content of the EGF of the serum in the B group was increased obviously,compared with before treatment,there was a significant difference(P0.05,P0.01).Conclusions: All of the three treatment methods have curative effect,and the moxibustion groups were markedly higher than the drug group in long-term result.The mild moxibustion for twenty minutes group has the same effect as the mild moxibustion for forty minutes group.And the moxibustion may adjust gastrointestinal hormone to cure the superficial gastritis Patients due to the spleen and stomach weakness.
