Abstract
Ob jective: To analyze the clinical effect of mild moxibustion in treating Chronic Gastritis Patients with Spleen-Stomach Deficiency-Cold Pattern. Methods: A total of 56 chronic gastritis patients were randomly divided into mild moxibustion group and western medicine group. Mild moxibustion was applied to Zhongwan, bilateral Zusanli and Qihai. Ranitidine was applied to western medicine group. The symptom integrative score of two groups was compared. Results: The effect rate was 85. 7% in western medicine group and89. 3% in mild moxibustion group( P 0. 05). No significant differences were found among the two groups in the total effective rates. The therapeutic effect of mild moxibustion was significantly superior to that of the western medicine group in improving the symptoms of fullness in the stomach and loose stools( the mild moxibustion group: 0. 48 ± 0. 13,0. 24 ± 0. 11; the western medicine group: 0. 71 ±0. 32,0. 32 ± 0. 16)( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Both the two treatment have curative effect, and the mild moxibustion group is superior to the western medicine group in the therapeutic effect.
