Abstract
In view of the problems in distribution network neutral grounding through arc-suppression coil and small resistance,a new grounding mode via arc-suppression coil and line-selecting resistance in parallel is proposed. Its running principle is analyzed along with the basis for choosing the line-selecting resistance. The results of simulation computation using the alternative transients program(ATP) show that the proposed mode can effectively avoid the problems in neutral grounding through arc-suppression coil and small resistance, and adapts well to distribution network combining overhead lines and cable lines.
