Abstract

Objective To delve into the relationship of blood-lipid to serum bilirubin in ApoE gene-knockout mice. Methods Male ApoE gene-knockout mice of twelve-month-old were selected in this study, and male C57BL/6J mice of twelve-month-old were used as controls. The levels of TG,TC,LDL-C,ApoB,T-BIL,and D-BIL in serum were determined in these mice. Results The serum levels of TG TC,LDL-C,ApoB in ApoE gene-knockout mice were significantly higher than those in C57BL/6J mice(P0.01),and the serum level of D-BIL in ApoE gene-knockout mice was significantly lower than that in C57BL/6J mice(P0.01).Conclusion Blood-lipid of the mice with atherosclerosis was correlated with serum bilirubin.
