Using Onyx Embolization of Cerebral Arteriovenous Malformations

Abstract

Objective To study interventional procedure and safety of embolization of cerebral artenovenous malformations(AVMs) with Onyx.Methods Application of Onyx embolization system in the treatment of 7 cases of cerebr al arterionvenous malformations,surgical intervention of attention to matters related to operation of embolism.Results 7 ceses of The AVMs nidus are 100% embolized in 1 cese,80% 4 ceses,50～80% 2 ceses.One patient has paraesthesia on limb,the symptoms disappear 5 days.Intracranial hemorrhage was found in 1 case within 24 hours after the procedure.Conclusion study the Angioarchitecture carefully,keep patient all the interventional procedure.Embolization of AVMs with Onyx is safety and efficacy.
