Abstract

Nine compounds were isolated from EtOAc extract of the Polygonum capitatum Buch.-Ham.ex D.Don..Their structures were identified as quercetin 3-O-(4″-O-acetyl)-α-L-rhamnopyranoside(1),quercetin(2),quercitrin(3),myricetrin(4),quercetin 3-rhamnoside 2″-gallate(5),protocatechuic acid(6),daucosterol(7),gallic acid(8) and progallin A(9) on the basis of their physical properties and the spectral data.Compound 1 was isolated from the genus Polygonum for the first time,and 4 was isolated from the plant for the first time.The NMR spectroscopic characteristics of the acetylated rhamnose of flavonoids glycosides were summarized.
