Abstract

In view of the regression characteristic and the configuration maintenance demand of the regional coverage satellite constellation,the constellation configuration is optimized using the linear relations between the semi-major axis and inclination and the rates of change of the ascending node right ascension and phase,which enhance the long-term stability of the satellite constellation configuration,simultaneously the sub-stellar and the phase are controlled through changing the deviations of the semi-major axis and the inclination.Finally the paper has carried the optimization design and the control simulation on the regional coverage space-based radar constellation,the simulation results indicate that the configuration optimization design and the maintenance strategy for the regional coverage satellite constellation are available and effective.
