Abstract
Based on paraffin wax as a solid-liquid phase change material(PCM) having the disadvantages of small thermal conductivity and bad performance of heat transfer,nano-aluminum/paraffin wax composite phase change materials are prepared by two steps and their thermophysical properties are measured. The results show that the addition of nano-aluminum powder improves the thermal conductivity of paraffin wax phase change material effectively, while the latent heat and transformation temperature change little.
