Abstract
Objective To study serum pepsinogen level of persons infected helicobactor pylori (HP) and its clinical application. Methods Serum pepsinogenⅠ(PGⅠ) and pepsinogenⅡ(PGⅡ) were detected in 80 normal people, 32 suspicions people with anti-HP antibod (IgG) weakly positive, 51 with anti-HP antibody positive and 28 cured cases. Results Serum PGⅠ and PGⅡ levels in of anti-HP antibody weakly positive and positive groups were higher than those of control group(P0.05), The ratio of PGⅠ to PGⅡ was significant reduction (P0.05), but the results of the cured cases were showed no significant differences comparing to the control group(P0.05). Conclusion Serum PG level is valuable for the people infected HP and treating surveillance.
