Analysis of Sound Nasality on Sonorant in Zhangjiakou Dialect

Using the Nasometer,this paper studies the nasality contrast of voiced initials and the intrinsidnasality of cardinal vowels and nasalized vowel in Zhangjiakou dialect.The results show that the nasality contrast degree of initial consonants is high,and the nasal initials can increase the nasality degree of the vowels which are behind them.The vowels' intrinsic nasality changes according to the position of the tongue.The nasality degree of nasalized vowel /～/is not high,and its nasal nature is not strong.But the nasal nature of nasalized vowel /～/is still distinct.
