Abstract
In this thesis I try to observe from the view points of cultural linguistics the vocabulary adopted in The Book of Songs.Then,with analysis on the poems and the vocabulary I will explore the cultural spirit of the ancient Zhou(11 th century B.C.-3 rd century B.C.)as a nation of agriculture.
