Abstract

The effect of Na2SO4 on growth of Trifolium repens was studied by sand culture method.Germination rate,plant height,root activity,chlorophyll content,MDA and soluble sugar content were measured.The results showed that germination rate,germination energy,plant height,root activity,chlorophyll content decreased with the concentration of Na2SO4 increasing.Na2SO4 could inhibit seed germination and seedling growth.However,MDA and soluble sugar content increased.
